Yes to all this! The cost of living out of alignment is staggering. I blew up my entire life and saved it. I wish I could adequately explain the cost to younger people of turning yourself inside out for the idea of a thing instead of seeing the actual reality. I will never again live an inauthentic life. I will take all the pain and joy that comes with and from living in truth because it is the price of my freedom and I am grateful to be awake to how precious and invaluable it is. Thank you Jen!! ❤️

Thank you, Jen. Having followed you from the very very beginning, I’m talking blue front door beginning, through leggings are not pants… We all know how that ended… Until now. I’m so excited to read your book.

Sometimes the secrets we tell ourselves can be so heavy, the weight of them threatening to take us under. Surely I can make this work if only.. we whisper at night, almost silently, when everyone else is fast asleep. But then something happens in our world that shakes us and the dam breaks, leaving us raw and honest, quite possibly for the first time. Some will call this a revelation, a breakthrough, an awakening. Whatever it is, we know it's changed us by giving us strength we had long forgotten about. This new courage is mighty and feels just right in our hands, our hearts. So, cheers to the powerful ones who have made it to the other side. May they always know their divine right as they lovingly cherish their freedom and celebrate their greatness !!

I love your phrase “gift of devastation”. It happened to me, too, and 8 years on…I have never been happier. Looking forward to reading Awake

That question hits deep. StormSide knows sometimes the hardest map is the one we draw backward, but it’s the only way we see how far we’ve really come.

“Sometimes your freedom is an indictment on someone else’s prison, and that is an unwelcome mirror.” Ooooh yes

I loved reading your book "Awake". It really prompted me to examine my own marriage, relationships, career, and how burdensome the cognitive dissonance was. It was sucking the strength out of me. Thank you Jen.

Jen, I've been dying to get this book in my hands! I'm a writer and mom of five as well, who divorced my husband at 24 years...but we ended up remarrying two years later. I've followed your journey and though my ex and I remarried, I empathize with your life in so many ways. Your writing helps me question and process my decisions, and inspires me to write more honestly. Grateful for your courage!
